I had just finished compiling Ethereal using DarwinPorts and was anxious to start up the software for the first time. I entered 

$  Ethereal

into the command line prompt and got this

(Ethereal:28001): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
I'm pretty sure i have Gtk2. Any help would be stupendously appreciated. Thanks in advance.
