Hi,
Could you try changing
                        bh.block_total_length += tot_rec_len;

                        if (rec_off + tot_rec_len > NRES_REC_MAX_SIZE)
                                break;
to:
                        if (rec_off + tot_rec_len > NRES_REC_MAX_SIZE)
                                break;
                        bh.block_total_length += tot_rec_len;

In the two places it is used? Please don't check it into trunk as I'm working
on a larger change. If it works it can go into 1.8(?) and 1.10.
