didn't receive a more facetious reply.
Perhaps you should check out this excellent FAQ on how to ask "smart"
questions on mailing lists. This FAQ has nothing to do with Ethereal or PHP but
is a good primer for new mailing list users.
I
suggest your first efforts should be to learn how to use PHP, and then
automate simple commands using PHP before trying to integrate
tethereal within your application. A simple Google search brought up
a number of useful starting points. Perhaps this will be of some
use :
Once
you have a specific question about tethereal interoperating with PHP, double
check the FAQs, search Google as best you can, then if you're still
stumped, please post again.
