  I have just built Ethereal using the ethereal-2002-03-19 tarball.  (You
ain't kidding, I needed to add a plethora of support tools to get it
built).

  I now can not get Ethereal to segfault when double-clicking within the
filter choice window.  So it appears your fix corrected my issue.
