Even if it doesn't segfault, it starts a capture.

It shouldn't do so; double-clicking on a filter should act *exactly*
like clicking on the filter and clicking "OK" in the window in which the
filter names are listed.

I've checked in a fix for that bug.  It may also fix the bug you're
seeing.  However, the only way to test that would either be to

	1) wait for the next Ethereal release

or

	2) build Ethereal from CVS or from a CVS snapshot (note that
	   this requires more tools to be installed than does a build of
	   a release, e.g. you need Python, Berkeley YACC or Bison,
	   Flex, and possibly some others).
