If people are looking for a good packet sniffer, I would recommend Just get the http://www.ethereal.com/distribution/win32/ethereal-setup-0.9.0-1.exe It is a free open source packet sniffer with very advanced capabilities. E.g. Full TCP session decode. I.e. Ii can recreate the telnet session screen from the packets. It runs very well on Windows 2000 sniffing the LAN. You need to install WinPcap first http://netgroup-serv.polito.it/winpcap/ It can read packet traces from Etherpeek and MS Netmon files. Cheers James
