Yes, I am using a c:\etc\ethers translation file for Ethernet->HostName
translation.

I have tried putting a IPdotted.quad->HostName translation table into
\ethers just to see it it would also work, but alas it didn't work.

I am not sure if we have a DNS running on any of our machines. It may be
there by default. I know I haven't set one up on the Win95(Laptop) or
WinME(PC4) machines. The Linux box (Linux) is an out-of-the-box installation
and I do not recall having set up a DNS. We are also running Wingate on the
WinME (PC4) machine, could it be providing a DNS function?
