It work fine on my Compaq.

You need to carefully follow the instructions to install winpcap. (I didn't
the first time). You might want to try using the command "windump -D" and
"windump -i<index>" to check that pcap works. Then if that is OK try out the
latest ethereal build.

Subject: [Ethereal-users] Does anybody have ethereal working with Win2K
on a notebook?

Hello, all....

I am having a very difficult time getting Ethereal to work on Win2K Pro.,
and it occurs to me that it simply may not (yet) work. Does anyone have
firsthand experience getting it to run on Win2K?

Thanks!
