Some, but not a lot - there'd be a routine that called "syslog()" on
UNIX and whatever the "log to Event Viewer" API is on Windows.

...I think that's the right answer.  Show it in a text widget, so users
can more easily cut-and-paste from it into mail messages, rather than
attaching screenshots to their mail.
