What about switching to a real *generic* name like:

"Multi Purpose Graph"
"User Specified Graph"
"Generic Graph"
"Graph" ;-)
"Progression Graph"
"Line Graph"

As far as I understand that different people use it for very different 
tasks, so no specific name will be appropriate?
