Just a thought, as you'd like more traces. I have quite a few from my lab
that are DPNSS and again Wireshark has a good DPNSS dissector. The Aethra
decode for DPNSS is excellent, but if you want to check more L2 stuff, will
they be of any use?

Thanks. I've updated the Aethra-reading code based on the new captures, and
have asked in the bug if you have additional captures with interesting
information for further reverse engineering.
