That means that mate was installed with 0.99.3 and it was not
installed with 0.99.4.
What we could do is to add a dummy plugin that only registers the
obsoleted preference and install that when MATE is disabled.
Is it worthwhile?

Hi List!
When I do the following:
- install 0.99.3
- start WS and save the prefs
- install 0.99.4

I get the following console message:

Please remove this before the 0.99.4 release!!!
