Unicode, more fun than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
All sorts of dash-like characters, and if you're unlucky with the text you copy
and paste, you get one that's not '-' and you think the code is buggy unless
you notice that the thing before "E" in something that looks like "-E" is a
*bit* longer than "-".
