I'm not actively working on it - just logging it, and hoping someone else might
knock up a patch.
Maybe if I find time. But I've been living with it for a while now; we don't
send >1280-byte packets often (if ever, apart from stress tests), so it's not a
major inconvenience.
(Mainly, filing a report here gives me something to point at when an internal
tester complains that they're seeing invalid packets in Wireshark...)
