I had the Cisco VPN client software installed, i uninstalled along with
Wireshark, rebooted and then re-installed Wireshark and rebooted again.
Still same issue, Wireshark hangs at loading configuration files.
The dumpcap process is also preventing my PC from rebooting normally from time
to time so i have to reset it with the power button.
I'll try to get in touch with WinPcap guys as advised, thanks again for your
help.
