on bug 8225
from Tyson Key
Hi Evan,
Unfortunately, my old laptop with a Windows 7 installation (and a BES
installation) suffered from a motherboard failure, a while ago; and my current
laptop only has Ubuntu installed - so the only way that I could do further
testing would be to obtain another BES licence, and install it within a Windows
VM.
Since as has been said previously that some dissection support is better than
none at all - I'd be willing to address any code quality concerns; and use my
prior strategy of "building on demand" (i.e. implementing support for packet
types as necessary), so that at least something that dissects SRP
Ping/connectivity testing packets reliably could be checked in.
That said, I'd also be willing to write a wiki page regarding it, if I get
chance.
Thankfully, since I've got time off university for the holidays, it probably
wouldn't take me too long to at least either begin a wiki page, or make another
stab at the code.
Tyson.
