I'm not sure if it is related to mDNS packets or the way Apple creates the
QNAME, but I've noticed the mDNS packets defining a DACP service has the
information displayed incorrectly. For example, if the QNAME is
iTunes_Ctrl_D34F64C1D4227164._dacp._tcp.local, Wireshark would have this
information:
Service: iTunes_Ctrl_D34F64C1D4227164
Protocol: dacp
Name: _tcp.local
when it should be:
Service: dacp
Protocol: tcp
Name: local
It's easy to replicate.
1. Start Wireshark and start sniffing
2. Start iTunes
3. Look for mDNS packets related to DACP service
