Perhaps we should look at this from a different direction: the main window is
not redrawn when a "Save As" or "Open File" window is open. It doesn't matter
what you drag over the main window - it doesn't need to be any part of
Wireshark - the main window simply isn't redrawn whatever you open or drag over
it.
