What happens if you download and install WinDump:

    http://www.winpcap.org/windump/default.htm

and run it from the command line with the "-D" option (i.e., "windump -D")? 
That could help determine whether it's a WinPcap bug (in which WinPcap needs to
be fixed) or a *Shark bug.
