The Expert Info should display only the info for the currently filtered
packets. Currently, it displays info for all packets, even if some are
filtered. This makes it very confusing to use as there can be a lot of info
that simply does not apply to the filtered packets of interest.
Refer to the URL for the discussion on this topic. Within that discussion, Ulf
writes, "I would also expect to see only the expert infos of the currently
displayed packets - but that would be different than other alike functionality
- and having some functions work on the displayed while other work on all
packets is not a good idea." Regardless of whether it would be different than
other alike functionality, from a usability perspective, I think it simply
makes much more sense to display only info relevant to the currently filtered
packets. And I'm not sure if it makes sense or not to do so, but perhaps the
other functionality that Ulf refers to should also be changed to work on the
filtered packets as well.
