Well, Ethereal doesn't have any features to control any physical
properties of the underlying interface. The only thing ethereal will do
is to start capturing in promiscous or non-promiscous mode.
So you will need to configure your driver to provide the necessary
information in one of the formats that Ethereal supports (e.g. prism
header or radiotap header ...). Ethereal will then show theses values.
