Hi,

Could I please have some help on these.
I understand the sytax for Display & capture are
different. I've read the doco. & still can't get them
working.
I'm using ethereal on Windows 0.10.8.

I have a capture of MPLS/VPN traffic.

The top level label (IGP label) is Hex,
00 03 20 fe
I actually only want to match on the 1st 20 bits ie.
00 03 2.
I don't understand why these Display filters match
nothing,
mpls.label[0:2] == 0003
mpls.label == 0003
mpls.label [0:2] == 00:03

The VPN label is Hex,
00 05 e1 fe.
I actually only want to match on the 1st 20 bits ie.
00 05 e.
I don't understand why this Display filter match
nothing,
mpls[4:2] == 00:5e
