building a no GUI honeywall

Found the RPM
ethereal-base-no-snmp-0.10.0a-1.RH9.i386.rpm at:
http://www.ethereal.com/distribution/rpms/

Which is exactly what I need:
- RPM (not source)
- Includes mergecap and tethereal
- No GTK dependancy
- No SNMP dependancy

However this was built against older libs (notice the
RH9 designation, I'm FC3 based) so it wont work. Have
tried the following to no avail:

(1) Create links from existing "libs" to "required
older libs"

(2) d/l source and...
./autogen.sh ; ./configure \
--disable-usr-local \
--prefix=/usr \
--build=i386-pc-linux-gnu \
--without-net-snmp \
--without-ucd-snmp \
--disable-gtk2 \
--disable-ethereal \
--disable-gtktest \
--disable-setuid-install \
--enable-tethereal \
--enable-editcap \
--enable-mergecap

make rpm-package

and the rpm generated still requires gtk.

I also tried --enable-static to no avail.

Is there an RPM SPEC file available for
ethereal-base-no-snmp-0.10.0a-1.RH9.i386.rpm which is
posted at the above listed URL so I can see how to get
what I need?

-or- does anyone know what else I can try?

Thanks.

Earl Sammons
