Recently, when I start ethereal (for winXP) following error is displayed after "registering dissectors": 

ethereal.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk3\DR5 

<cancel> <try again> <continue>
If I click on continue (two times) program starts regularly. Also, same issue happens when I try to access Preferences. There is probably something wrong with some paths but I can't find where. 

I've downloaded 0.10.8, same issue.
