I have not heard that about Solaris. Are you saying that you can capture packets from a DLPI device without binding the DLPI device to a particular interface? (Even if you can, you could only capture on more than one interface of the same type.)
Ethereal itself includes no support for capturing from more than one libpcap device at once.
