*if* you're capturing in promiscuous mode, in Windows, on certain Centrino laptops, some packets look like Ethernet packets with an Ethernet type of 0x2452, but are actually raw IEEE 802.11 (wireless LAN) packets preceded by an Ethernet header (because, on Windows, there's no mechanism in the OS networking code that handles raw 802.11 packets).

Ethereal 0.10.6 can decode those packets; earlier versions can't.

If that's not what the 0x2452 protocols is in your captures, I don't know what it is, and can't tell you how to decode it.
