Hi,
 
Ethereal, as I understand, is a great packet capture tool. However, what I am looking for is a tool that will intercept the packets so that I can change some information in the IP header and then forward it on.
 
I don't think Ethereal provides such functionality (correct me if I am wrong). Can someone please suggest some tools that may be able to intercept packets.
