Apologies if this is the wrong way to report a problem - I did try to check on the web site for the best email to use.

Using the Windows version of Ethereal (v0.10.4) I have a problem.

I have installed the software on two similar machines:

  • Desktop (WinXP - Compaq Network Card)
  • Laptop (Sony Vaio X1RSP with inbuilt Wireless 802.11b card)

The desktop is able to use the software as expected.

However, on the laptop - there is a problem.

After clicking on Capture // Start, the dialog that appears will seem to "lock up" - there do not seem to be any interfaces listed.

If there is anything I can do to help fault-find , please let me know.
