Gigabit?  I've heard of that, but I'm not sure how to spell it.

Well, that's what I call service....

So perhaps he should buy a PowerMac - I don't know whether the shiny new
G5's Ethernet interfaces have a driver that captures the FCS, but they
might.

It should be easy for some of us to check :-}
