Well I didn't say I was a total newbie either.... I'm a software programmer with network basics, I said I'm not a specialist which means I don't have advanced network skills! But this is not the point and this is not a web browser issue either. The problem comes from a Win32 software trying to http upload to www.distributedfolding.org:80 via the LAN and through my Gateway/Firewall FreeBSD. Actually this software can apparently download from this server but not upload, the technical service on site told me they checked up everything's working fine on their side, so I decided to sniff frames on my LAN.... But I don't know how to use Ethereal.... Is that more specific ? Can anyone tell me shortly the procedure ? and filters I should use?
