I think I might be able to answer this, but first I have to ask a
question. Which interface are you trying to capture on? Packets to the
localhost remain internal to the system so you might have to specify the
loopback interface (lo0). I am not a Solaris expert, so I am assuming
the ability to capture on the loopback is available. It works on my
FreeBSD box. Anyone care to verify this for me?
