I am afwully Sorry !
Now ethereal (ver 0.10.1/2) can capture any packets by 10/100M ethernet interface !
But today the condition is different from before !i do not know why .
When i installed ethereal (ver 0.10.1/2),ethereal (ver 0.10.1/2) ,install wizard gived me 3 selections :typical,modern GDK2 user interface and custom.
when I choosed "typical" ,ethereal is OK ,but the font of command such as" file edit view capture " is very small !it is very uncomfortable while using it ! you can see the picture 1 in the attached file !
wneh I choosed "GDK2 " ,the result was the same that were Glib-error and Runtime reeor when opening files and saving packets. but the font of command such as" file edit view capture " is OK ! you can see the picture 2 in the attached file !
I did not choose "custom".
On the several days before today ,ethereal (ver 0.10.1/2) was " Glib-error and Runtime reeor " when open and save . i do not know why .
