On which interface are you trying to capture? PPP? WAN? Ethernet? Wireless
LAN?
In which file format did you try to save your packets?
Have a look in the Temp directory of your user profile, it can be found in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp
If you can find files named etherXXXXX*, could you try reading it with
Ethereal? If Ethereal then crashes, could you send us such a capture so we
can inspect it?
