Hello,

I have sent this question for 3 times !
I have the same question about useing Ver 0.10.2 as ver 0.10.1 in Windows 2000 proffesional .
I had installed ethereal 0.10.2 or 0.10.1and wincap 3.0 or 3.1. after I run ethereal ,I could not capture and save packets !!!
When i captuerd or saved packets ,there was a info "Glib-error**:gmem.c:140:failed to allocate 2147483649 bytes aborting ...". After I pressed "confirm" button ,there was another info "Runtime reeor! program:c:\progrem files\ethereal\ethereal.exe abnormal program termination".then After I pressed "confirm" button ,ethereal was closed !!!
I do not know the reason ! hope your help !

Best regards!

ShouHui Tian
