You can check both "Update list of packets in real time" and "Automatic
scrolling in live capture". 

This does push your processor harder, so there's more chance of dropping
packets. Also the DNS requests to get host names for the packet display will
add some traffic, which you will see.

You are still capturing traffic to a file, so you might want to restart the
capture at intervals to keep the file size down. If you use a ring buffer
this is done automatically.
