Title: compile problem ethereal 0.10.0a
Hi,
I have a problem compiling ethereal 0.10.0a on Digital Unix Tru64 4.0f.
The linker fails with no apparent reason. Compiling previous versions of ethereal in the same environment works fine.
To increase the number of debug messages I've changed the Makefile so that the linker is invoked with the -v option. This gives:
cc1: warning: "-fno-rtti" is valid for C++ but not for C/ObjC

Does anybody know what could be wrong ? I'm using gcc 3.3.2 with the default linker that comes with Tru64. (GNU ld is not supported on alpha*-dec-osf*). At least 3 earlier versions of ethereal have been built successfully in this environment.
thanks,
Herbert
