I have been trying to trace some voice traffic on a client 100B/t 
network.  I can see some low level traffic, like ICMP, but miss the setup 
packets, reported to be using TCP.  Yet the calls go through, and when I 
break the connection the calls don't complete, so I know that these packets 
are transiting the hub I am using to inspect the flows.

Are there any indications or signs that I could look for, that would 
indicate that packets are being lost either by ethereal, WinPCap, or the 
nic that I am using?
