Hello Martin,

Sorry but hopefully this is my last question. Before I install this do I need to uninstall the previous version. I installed from source using the configure, make and make install commands. Also if I was to uninstall how would I do it.

I think you should try with Ethereal 0.9.12.
Guy Harris checked in some fixes some days before Ethereal 0.9.12 was released that hopefully
should solve the crash problem for WTP.
