Assuming that you are capturing the packets then I am guessing that they are probably just displayed as UDP. This is because RTP doesn't have a defined port. If you can display the the exact stream (with a display filter such as "udp && ip.src="" you can then use the Decode As.. tool and choose RTP for the appropriate UDP source port.) This will then force a RTP decode of all the specifed UDP packets.

I am a new user of ethereal. I've got a broadband connection to the internet. I would like to have a look at some RTP packets but when I try to download songs or data originated from a webcam and I capture those packets, I do not see  any RTP packets. Could anyone tell me why I can't see RTP packets and HOW can I capture them?
