I have just installed Ethereal Version 0.9.9 on a Compaq Deskpro P933
running Windows 2K SP3.  The package installed fine but when I try to start
a capture I have no devices in my interfaces dropdown.  I have installed
WinPcap 3.0 Alpha4.  The Compaq PC has an Intel onboard NIC and I have also
tried putting in a 3Com 3C905 nic but experience the same problem.  I am
just just trying to monitor local network traffic nothing special, no PPP or
remote connections.  Any ideas?
