I don't see any recent mail in the tcpdump-workers archive (which is not
surprising, as I also didn't receive any mail to that list about it
recently...).

The extended frame stuff is already in Ethereal.  It's not in libpcap
yet, but hopefully I'll be able to get something in before libpcap 0.8
goes in (and even if it's *not* implemented yet, neither is anything
else...).
