Greetings

 I am using Redhat 7.3 with Ethereal 0.9.4
and have an issue with promiscuous mode.

ifconfig -a show promisc to be on, however during
captures I cannot get anything other than broadcast 
from my local net. I start Ethereal with capture in
promisc mode checked, ( tried it unchecked as well )
and nothing local. All else seems fine.

Any experience out there
