Sir,
I am attempting to install the Red Hat i386 version of ethereal (0.8.18) to 
my Red Hat 7.2 Linux system.  After installing the libpcap, the installation 
appeared to go fine, but on inputting "ethereal" at the terminal command line 
the response was a return to the command line - the window did not open up.

Would appreciate guidance of what I might be doing wrong.
