"Go into display filters" in what sense?

Click the "Filter:" button at the bottom of the window?

Or select "Display Filters" from the "Edit" menu?

"Nothing happens"?

I.e., no filter is saved?

Or the display isn't filtered?

The dialog box you get from the "Display Filters" item from the "Edit"
menu is solely for editing your list of display filters. It's not for
filtering your trace.

If you want to filter for NFS, just type "nfs" into the text field to
the right of "Filter:" at the bottom and then type the <Enter> key, or
click the "Filter:" button at the bottom, which pops up a dialog box
that lets you edit your list of display filters *and* select a filter
and apply it to your capture.
