Possibly.
The Win32 version of GTK+ may just be misbehaving here. You'd have to
ask the guy who supports it about it; none of us are, as far as I know,
even remotely expert in the way it works internally.

"A profile name"? Ethereal doesn't have any notion of multiple profiles.
You *can* save at some (but not all) of the capture settings and display
settings in your preferences by, after doing a capture, selecting
"Preferences" from the "Edit" menu and clicking the "Save" button.
