FYI,

I just installed winpcap v2.1 on Windows 98 for use with Ethereal 0.8.16
It has corrected the problem of "date and time of day" being displayed
incorrectly.  "date and time of day" now display correctly.

If you choose to upgrade wincap from an earlier version, it is very important
that you first un-install the older packet driver and delete 
\windows\packet.dll before running the winpcap.exe installer.
