In the program, there are three interfaces that I can select.  Two give me
an error message and the first one just starts the Capture window.  This
interface is the same one that works with the PCMCIA card.

I don't see a problem with the cards themselves as I am able to connect
various ways on the network, etc.  Could there be a problem with static IP
assignments or DHCP?

In this case you should have several choices in
Capture/Start/Interface. One of them could be
the network adapter of the docking station.
