Warning.
 
If you are installing Ethereal on Win95 you will get to a point in installing the capture device driver "Packet.dll" where you answer "Have disk". At that point you will be asked to put in a path to where you have stored the device driver. You can either type in the path in the window provided, or use the browse feature
 
NOTE THAT THE DRIVER INSTALL PROGRAM ONLY SUPPORTS 8.3 FILE NAMES.
 
Do not use long directory names, Do not use spaces in directory names, etc etc.
 
Use only simple short directory names in the path to where the "packet.dll" file is stored. Follow all the DOS rules regarding directory names.
