I would have said "I am only curious about LDAP," of " only a curiosity-based interest in LDAP" ... but we all know what you mean :-)

To add it to SVN in asn1/ldap but not replace the current dissector, so we
can work on it in parallel when time permits?

Well, I do intend to work on the LDAP dissector via asn2eth sometime in the next month or two ...

I have also put up a bunch more LDAP traces on the web site, and would expect to add more as they are needed.

On the same note I have the beginning of an asn2eth generated SNMP dissector
But lack SMUX traces and time to complete it, could that be committed as
well?

I dunno. Maybe Gerald should pipe in here ...
