Pretty strange concept of IP in my view,
1, DCE/RPC decoding capability is common in most network alanyzers and
not something anyone would consider IP.
2, Playback of DCERPC requires very much state and is virtually
impossible unless you really really know what DCERPC is and how it
works. Something you apparently do not know and which you would have
found out if you had done a proper feasibility study before accepting
the contract from the customer
3, For someone concerned about IP rights it seems pretty strange to
me to come and ask for someone elses copyrighted software. You did
not intend to just lift the code in ethereal and incorporate into your
customers product did you?
4, You do know that the code in ethereal is copyrighted?
